Valley Golf To Sanction Pangandamans And Dela Pazes Over Melee

The Dela Pazes and the Pangandamans will both be slapped with penalties by the Valley Golf and Country Club for that scandalous post-Christmas melee that has “damaged the good image of and public estimation for the Club.”
My sources have confirmed that a special meeting of the VGCC Board of Directors will be held tomorrow, January 9 “to affirm the findings of the in-house fact-finding panel.”
The playing rights of Mr. Delfin Dela Paz and his kin will be suspended for a still undetermined period following the earlier 6-month suspension of Agrarian Refiorm Secretary Nasser Pangandaman Sr.
According to my sources, “the VGCC Management feels the melee could very well have been avoided if Delfin Dela Paz had calmly, and rationally, accepted the “valid explanations of the Pangandamans that they had properly registered for the same flight and were simply catching up, as confirmed by the VGCC marshal.”
“The VGCC has undertaken a review of its rules to prevent a repeat of such unfortunate episode,” my sources told me.
Me thinks this should properly close the book.
Loose ends:
1. The Pangandamans are both public officials and the Dela Pazes are presumed to be of no humble means and education.
Both clans owe the society which they have scandalized a HUGE PUBLIC APOLOGY.
2. What of the Panngandamans’ misconduct under civil service regulations? Will they be held liable?
To close, permit me a little levity: there’s no truth to that rumor that VGCC will be renamed Valley Golf and Boxing Club
UPDATE: GMA Network’s Mike Enriquez reported just minutes cago that the VGCC Board of Directors “has decided to expel Mr. Delfin Dela Paz and suspended Secretary Pangandaman for two years and banned Nasser Jr. for life.”
The expulsion of the elder Dela Paz effectively removes the playing rights of both Bambee and Bino Dela who is listed in the VGCC web site as having scored a hole in won just last November.
