The Elections Aren't Over Yet

Are you a ‘People Power Volunteer’?

Whoever is behind this stunt is knowingly bastardizing the genuine intent of the EDSA Revolution – that of removing a dictatorship and bring democracy back with the first Republic in Asia.

I can understand that the Aquino-Roxas ticket is, by all indications, set to win the elections.

But I do not relish the idea that a call for People Power is hovering like a sword of Damocles.

Filipinos of whatever political stripe should vote according to their conscience and convictions not by threat of People Power.

Methinks it is irresponsible for anyone to be essentially saying that the surveys can very well replace the election.

Sobriety all around please.
