Will Joc Joc Bolante Take The Rotary Club 4-Way Test?

November 2, 2008

To lie or not to lie. This is the question that alleged fertilizer fund scam ‘architect’ will have to determine in his conscience this week as his the discharge from St. Luke’s Medical Center draws near.

He’s been holed up in Suite 2016 of SLMC since his deportation from the United States late Tuesday last week.

Over the undas weekend. doctors led by cardiologist Romeo Saavedra subjected Bolante to a battery of tests to determine how well he really is after he complained to chest pains minutes after emerging from Northwest flight 71.

The tests to check his ability to withstand stress have mainly been rated “normal” though arteries leading to his heart were found to be hardening and his long-time peptic ulcer was acting up.

Unless unless his medical team orders his further confinement for treatment beyond getting out-patient care, the former powerful agriculture undersecretary has many appointments to keep with both the Ombudsman and the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.

So the job he is really “simple” as the political opposition says.

No real long ‘grilling’ may even be needed if  Joc Joc just takes the Rotary Club’s 4-Way Test.

Bolante surely knows this by heart.

He was founding president of the Rotary Club of Paranaque South apart from being treasurer of the international district his club belonged to.

The tight vise he will be in is in telling the truth without incriminating himself in the anomaly that defrauded farmers of P728-M in fertilizer and farming tools assistance.
