MICHAEL JACK LIFE MONTAGE

MJ LAST IMAGES MONTAGE

A part of my childhood died today with Michael Jackson’s passing.

While others know his best songs to include “Black and White”, “Thriller”, “Billy Jean”, or even “We are The World”, no songs evoke sweeter memories for me than “Give Love On Christmas Day”, and “Ben”.

“Ben” was Michael at his most innocent, singing about friendship and in this case the song was actually the theme for a little known film feature about a child and is only friend – a mouse.

“Give Love On Christmas Day” was in contrast Michael’s most universal and timeless masterpiece, evoking everything that the world should have and what is the best gift of all.

Through all his stellar life, including the curious phase of him changing skin color, his marraiage to Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie, and the child molestation charges he was found innocent of, Michael was part of the life of my generation.

As Michael Jackson loomed large in life, in death, he has now become immortal.

I was surprised. A person like MJ died like the way he died at that age.
