Of Estranged Lovers, Domestic Violence, And Public Misconduct (1st Update)

Love gone sour in a most unpleasant way: a long-time live-in couple with 5 children now trading charges in court with the badly battered female even getting a court protection order and the admitted assailant asserting that he “could have killed the woman and her lover after finding them in bed”.
The other man was allegedly stripped naked and beaten up my the ‘dishonored’ man’s bodyguards.
But the man now facing charge of violating the law against violence on woman is not only a former provincial governor but is deputy presidential adviser on national security affairs.
Gov, Luis ‘Chavit’ Singson says he is ready to face the consequences of his action and present proof about Ms. Rachel ‘Che’ Tiongson’s infidelity.
ABS-CBN’s Ces Drilon interviewed Ms. Tiongson on her ordeal:
But what bothers me about this essentially ‘domestic’ issue is the fact that Mr. Singson is a member of President Arroyo’s official family.
Will Mr. Singson be asked to go on official leave as he deals with the criminal chardges against him?
Or will this go the way of another Cabinet member who once involved in a mauling case at a golf course months ago with Malacanang closing its eyes about how this reflects on its stylef governance.
Not really a pleasant way to end the week.
1st Update:
Malacanang’s reaction to this highly deplorableincident involving a member of the Arroyo Cabinet through Press Secretary Cerge Remonde:
Our advise to Singson is to behave
properly as an upright citizen and
submit himself to due process of the law.
THAT’S IT???!!!
I’m sure Erap is lauhing at him..belaaaaaaaaaaaat
Well one thing with Erap he may be such a womanizer but he knows how to look after them.
