An Open Letter To Sen. Panfilo Lacson
Dear Sen. Lacson,
It is now time to face the music and prove that you had nothing to do in the murders of public relation man Bubby Dacer and his driver, Emmanuel Corbito.
You have publicly claimed that former Pres. Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada had directed the conduct of a supposed ‘Oplan Delta’ that targeted Mr. Dacer.
Among journalists, it has been long talked about that the fate which befell the victims was somehow connected to a scam at the stock market involving Mr. Estrada and a client of Dacer’s.
Two former subordinates of yours in the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF) who fled to the United States after the double murder are already in the dock (with one awaiting extradition to Manila).
One of them, Cesar Mancao, has said he is ready to be State’s witness.
Will you also be ready to tell all to prove your innocence?
Your assertion of being a victim of political persecution no longer holds water with the Arroyo regime over.
Oakwood mutiny participant Navy Capt Nicanor Faeldon has surrendered to participate in the legal proceedings against him.
Former agriculture secretary Cito Lorenzo is also back from self exile to clear his name in the fertilizer fund scam.
You are the only one out in the cold, Senator Ping.
